Thoughts on that hand?

I could have played pretty much all overpairs that way so I don't think hes supposed to barrel at a high frequency and I dont see him raising the flop often with sets and not shoving them on the river.

The flop isnt so good for you that you want to bet this small size, AP you should find a fold on some street

if you don't 3-bet flop with your overpairs and bet range on this board, and then don't check shove turn with those same hands, you should have lots of better hands to call than this one. Blocking turn hearts that double barrel seems bad, as well.

I would not call this down.

As played, I'd fold on the river.

The turn is tricky. If I think he's a player that folds to much, I'd consider to check-jam to pressure him to think about folding an overpair like JJ / QQ.

If I don't think he folds to much (or if I don't have that information), I'd just fold on the turn.

I mean, all right, you have the nut flush OTT and 2 overs (great equity). But since you're out position, what are your implied odds if you hit a flush, an Ace or a King? He'd bet again if some of these cards hit? Would you lead on the river if some of theses hit? If yes, he'd call? Since he raise your bet on the flop very small, would be possible he has a set?

It's tricky, and has a lot of variance.

But don't get me wrong, it's just my opinion. I play the same limit that you, and my winrate is not great, so maybe I have to study more. :- )

Best regards.
