3B Winrate from SB/BB 3B Winrate from SB/BB

Hi,

im currently working on my 3b game from sb/bb. Im too tight, currently 3betting 7/5%, respectively. My question is: What is a "standard/good" winrate when filter 3b from sb/bb is active?

My current winrate from sb/bb when i 3b is 180/370 bb/100. Sample size ~400 hands for that filter. Now, the more hands i 3b the lower my winrate will be in this filtered scenario. Overall my winrate should improve because i now 3b hands, that i called/folded before.

My plan is to start 3b lighter for the next 20k hands and see what changes. If im heading in the right direction, as discribed above I throw in more until im at the %-level snowie or other software suggests.

Hope this makes sense

Why would you care about the winrate of you SB 3bets when this winrate is dependend on the level of competition and is not in your control?

I would just focus on 3betting the correct ranges vs every position and not flatting preflop in the SB unless you have extremely strong reasons to do so.

Next step is to evaluate your equity vs callranges from different positions and compare your EV's vs ranges on different textures to come up with a correct cbet strategy and frequency for different texures.

What's your win rate when you exclude premiums?

3bets from SB excluding JJ+ and ako/aks: on nl16 4.5k hands WR was 61bb/100
on nl 25 3450 hands winrate is 3bb/100 but with EV adjustment it's about 14bb/100
needed over 2y for this sample, but i m not huge volume player and i play only reg tables

this statistic would take such an absurdly large sample size to converge its useless, and its a waste of time thinking about it

Yeah, when i checked hand matrix it doesnt really make much sense, i have 44 making more money than 88, a2s being better than a5, a9s being better than ats and aqo>aqs and some more BS like this.

Yeah, which is why we wait for much larger sample. One thing to consider for SB is that your 3bet size should be much larger than regular 3bet size (about 10 to 13 bb, depending if squeezing or just one player). This should affect the range of hands you 3bet with, vs call. However, in PIO, as I recall, there are very few hands we flat with 3 players in the pot. So the range narrows significantly. I was 3betting regular from small blind with looser holdings, so win rate not as good. Win rate has picked up (Play reg tables also, a little fast fold as of yesterday) significantly by waiting for the good hands to 3bet or fold (actually, the deals have been pretty straight forward, either trash or good hands).
