Villain UTG has been very LAG. His stats: 61/51/5. He's been stealing over and over again, entering most pots and raising preflop usually X4. I've been playing rather TAG, splashing on rare occasions some moves.
In this case I find it's time to stop him; his X3 is a bit unusual for him...
This thread is not about my preflop call with 33 OOP; I'm well aware of that.
Check my line post flop. Critics are welcome.

Pre is the only good street (you are IP not OOP?!). Flop raise is meh but please fold to the 3bet. Turn is gross, you have very little FE and two outs when you get called.

Just wait for a hand and stack him. He is not a LAG he is a maniac.

I'll play a hand like 33 vs a spewy villain for set value but definitely smooth call .50 cents on flop. 1) for pot control and 2) when does a reraise fold this type of villain out of the hand? And on that note, if you were ahead wouldn't his move more likely be to smooth-call and get to his next card as cheaply as possible? Instead he 3-bets. Okay, so this still could still be some wild aggresion at this point.

Whoa, villain bets 3/4 pot? Unless this guy is sitting here absolutely GIVING his money away, I think this is where we completely lose hope. If he's coming in and stealing a lot of pots making 4xbb raises, perhaps this is him playing a small pp or suited connectors. And with the 2 on the board there are no pocket pairs that you beat. Not looking so great vs small suited connectors either.

Has villain showndown rags? Could this be insanity with QJ offsuit? Are we expecting villain to fold to 4 more dollars to win a 20 dollar pot? Villain has played such a large number of hands and raised so many that we have to give him credit for ATC with his preflop raise. This is hardly the type of player limited to a broadway type hand.

I think you can find a much better spot to take a stand. We are in terrible shape.

i'd rather just setmine, but if you're gonna raise the flop, it needs to be more than that. the rest is gash obv.

Ok, your answers are what I thought. I was spewy and over aggro on this one.
It turned out that he folded and my read seemed ok. I guess he didn't like the 2nd 7 (which was really my only way to win this one). He was indeed a complete Maniac and was probably holding as someone said a good ol' QJ. I pushed also because his semi pot bet on turn was completely out of his usual line (3/4 bets or pot bets). Being the 1rst to really resist may have made him think... for once... what am I representing here? Trips, Flush or Big pair.
I have no excuses. It's a suckout

Btw it turned out also that this guy ended up giving all his money with aggro plays when he was holding hands like 64o...

Thx for your answers
