I have been card dead most of the match, villain has been cally and passive pre, and post.

however at this blind level he minraised my limps a couple of times. He minraised with 33 with these small stacks too

I limped planning to limp/shove.

Why would you limp to limp/shove if villain is loose-passive? T8o is certainly not good enough to be shoving for value.

Just flat the minraise; we have excellent pot odds and position.

Being card dead doesn't really change a lot. Villain might just perceive you to be weak preflop. I prefer shoving preflop over limp-allin with rags. And don't limp/call with T8o against someone who's going to be putting you in if they hit and folding if they miss.

I figured it wasn't so bad as a semibluff......having decent FE + 35-40% equity if called, most of the time, lol

OTOH 17bb deep is not that shallow

If he is minR 100% this is clearly fine since you could (could) openshove under Nash.
I think just minR and playing post is going to be better though.
