Check call on turn pwns! On river I would probably check call again if his bet doesn't look super strong! Or w8 then I might be even more inclined to call thinking that he has a bluff =)

I called the turn and river was Js. I bet 13.05, he shoves and I call. He had 44.
If I didn't hit my set, I would've check and just call a small bet(1/2pot). But the board looked safe and I was thinking of 64s, 43s, 88 but I thought he has 22/14 stats so he could have a set / overpair 80-90% of the time and a straight maybe 10-20%. Imo I think it was a good play against him.
