Such a big topic that the simple answer is clearly "it depends...".
I think the standard NL100 players 3betting range is about 10-15%. Obviously adjust if you're getting called alot, by 3betting for value and never as a bluff. ie take low suited connectors out of your range and put in hands that'll make top pair alot. If you're never getting called then I like to throw in alot of suited connectors and random junk, because they have good equity vs their calling range, and basically aren't getting called alot anyway. Also, with my big pairs, if he's not calling many of my 3bets (<30%) then I like to call, and c/r alot of flops as this'll get more value.
I like to c.bet most flops for the same reason I do IP, because the opponent misses the flop alot. Obv. if you getting floated alot or raised alot then you might want to adjust here, by either double barrelling (vs. habitual floater) or checking the flop.
