Guys is 9/6 over 35 hands. However, he opened button 1/1 when folded to. He folded to a 3-bet once before this Is this flop a bet? if not, do we just X-fold?

I c-bet because I have gutter outs+ 2pair/trip9 outs. Also I can fold out JJ maybe AQ.

What is the correct play on this flop?

I really hope your thought process wasn't "this guy has opened the BTN 1 out of 1 times, I should 3b" as you kind of hinted in the OP...

I'd probably fold this SB v BTN (especially vs this really goofy 4x open) until I know this guy isn't a giant nit, and maybe look to start 3betting his CO or MP opens with hands like this and see how he responds instead.

We can't c-bet this board, especially when BB cold calls. And to answer your 2nd question a flop x/r (even with bd clubs) would be incredibly spewy.

okie with 3 betting pre.... and i also liked ur cbet on the flop..since u were outta position..but remember..on 3 bet pts the cbet sizing des nt have to be near pot..u culd have acheived the same result by betting smaller.....

Firstly its a fold pre.Not enough hands to make the 3 bet a correct play.

When he flats your 3 bet that flop absolutley smacks his range.Terrible flop for you to bet into. X/F on flop simple as.

3bet larger OOP. I just mash the pot button when 3betting OOP. Place more pressure on the opponent and charge him to play in position.

As played, I'm torn between cbettng and kind of just check/folding. With BB also coming along (stupid donk) I think it gives more merit to just check/folding on this board.

dont 3bet when the guy opens 4x otb, and obv don't cbet when BB coldcalls
