call flop, bet/ raise turn, despite repping a small range we give the impression we are very strong a tight player like this one folds in this spot enough to make it +ve.

You chose a horrible size, though. You chose a size that looks strong, he can't shove over, and still won't fold out anything strong.

Try Pokerstove, dont use some silly rule of thumb counting outs. Realistically, we have at best 35-40% equity here, since the board is paired. Depending on our raise size, it can be a pretty huge error to call a shove, not to mention the variance gambling for 2 buyins as an underdog.

Why is this hand so standard, I think it only becomes standard on the flop when we hold nut flush draw... "Reraises decent amount" doesn't really tell us that much... How long had you been sitting with him? How many hands that he 3-bet did he showdown? If he did showdown, was there a vast difference between his 3bet range and his standard opening range oop in limped pot? What was his c-bet frequency on those 3 bet hands? What is our image like and how often have we been c-betting in LP? Have we flatted any monsters or is our standard move to 4-bet with big hand? Once we have a decent idea of these, I think it's easier to have a plan on the flop. What happens when flop comes A-high? Aren't a few small to medium pairs in his range, along with A10, AJ, AQ (decent spot to try and take down pot PF with these hands OOP) If flop comes 2,9,9 2 spades, I can't see him folding 33-AA as we prob don't hold too many x2 or x9 hands (unless he thinks we can spew with K9 or A9 here). I don't know your image, but is folding here PF really that bad either?

Even though you didn't include a lot of table dynamic information, I think that in unknown situations, I am going to polarize his range more towards strong hands here (suited broadways, AJ>, 55>) However, seeing how the betting went, I am assuming that you polarized his range more towards the weak PF hands and all whiffed flops with 2 broadways, or you thought you had a clear edge postflop against villain, especially in position. Clearly, you knew more about the opponent than I do. Just giving input, on why I thought a fold should at least be considered PF.
