Possibly a set 66,88,22 or Aa or AK. I don't see any other hands doing this kind of a play. Even with AK he would have to be crazy to do this. Or maybe some weird two pair hands 68 suited who flatted (!!!!!) from BB.

Don't see how you can fold this.

Being 2NL + villain cold calling a 3B from BB and few combos we actually lose to (Sets, 66-22 may fold pre at some %) makes me fine with calling considering villain can definitely turn up with some random spews like 99-QQ/8x/clubs etc.

Makes sense.

Because if Villain cold call with small pocket-pair pre (making him a weak player type), then it also means he cold call with medium-big pocket pair, and a weak player will overplay their overpair on flop.

But if Villain is a decent reg, then we only lose to 88.

Especially because he is quite likely to call his set instead of raising.
