Hand 1:

BTN: $1.12
Hero (SB): $2.56
BB: $1.91
UTG: $2.17
MP: $2.09
CO: $1.41

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB with A K
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.05, BB calls $0.03

Flop: ($0.10) 5 K 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.06, BB calls $0.06

Turn: ($0.22) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.14, BB calls $0.14

River: ($0.50) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.22, BB raises to $0.68, Hero ?

Villain unknown. I'm betting each street for value vs weaker Ks. EZ fold? This is a set, a sticky 7, 2pr with a K or even the FH 100% of the time, right?

Hand 2:

BTN: $2.19
SB: $4.65
BB: $2.01
UTG: $2.62
Hero (MP): $2.00
CO: $2.17

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is MP with A K
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.06, 2 folds, SB calls $0.05, BB calls $0.04

Flop: ($0.18) J K 4 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.12, SB calls $0.12, BB folds

Turn: ($0.42) 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.26, SB calls $0.26

River: ($0.94) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $0.55, Hero ?

Villain unknown. Betting for value vs weaker Ks and protection vs various draws. Tad bigger ott and EZ fold otr again right? No reason not to believe him here?

Yuk. Two pretty nasty hands.

1st hand I think you play well until the river. I would probably also be betting river but maybe check-call is better? Think V will bet for us with a K a fair amount plus any busted straight draws he can have. Plus it protects us from being bluff-raised, which I think is actually very unlikely given the stakes. I agree with a fold OTR.

2nd I'm again on board with all the decisions. I agree that turn should probably be a bit bigger. I don't think this is such a clear fold given that V can have a bunch of straight draws and it's very possible that he bluffs this river if he gets here like that, but again the rule is that micro stakes players just don't bluff enough. Folding here too.

Maybe someone will come along and tell me I'm a nit-bitch but that's my 2c

hand 1 - sigh fold river. You just raised pre, 3 barreled and he STILL check raised river. I don't think this is a bluff hardly ever, less than 10% of the time. He either hit a seven or slowplayed a set.

hand 2 - sigh fold river again. This is almost always a flush. Again you've shown tons of strength yet he bets into you when the flush card hits. Almost always a flush IMO.

I know these types of hands suck, but generally I have found it's best to give people credit for the hands they're repping in micros unless you have info showing otherwise. Don't let that discourage you.

hand 1. for sure check-calling to induce bluffs from missed draws or worse kings. you also lose the minimum if you happen to be against a 7 or a boat.

hand 2. crappy spot. but easy fold. that is hardly ever a bluff when they lead the river. Looks like they are trying to get value from something.

H1: Not checking river as some suggested. There are no missed draws except for the odd BDFD. This is a clear valuebet imo. The only read you have is his stacksize, no auto top-up is more likely to be a fish. I'd bet a bit bigger on all streets and b/f R. Your going to see 7x, slowplayed boats too often when calling.
H2: Yeah bet bigger OTT. Although I have seen villains bluff this way OTR you probably can find a fold here too since you're readless. I'd be more inclined to call when holding the A.
