Hero (BB): $2 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A

6 folds, SB raises to $0.06, Hero calls $0.04

Flop: ($0.12) Q

(2 players)
SB bets $0.08, Hero ????

Obviously not folding...is there any reason to just call here? I'm in the BB so my hand is pretty well masked....there is a chance hes gonna fire a second barrel and get more value of him there but risk a K coming or him making a set

I think its safe to say that if you raise here your getting called by weaker Q's, maybe 9x, and draws. So I'd raise...

scooby doo i think youre right. if he has air then my call alone is gonna slow him down most likely and theres a good chance he has what uve got...good advice

Pretty dry board. Raising is gonna fold out almost his entire range that we're ahead of. I doubt a 9 will call a raise oop a lot of the time. If he has a Q he'll bet again anyways. Just call and keep all his air in and worse hands that think theyre ahead of us

Also youre being a little too paranoid thinking what if he hits a set or a king

Call it, see if he fires another barrel, best way to get value here; if he's bluffing he'll likely shutdown if you raise him on the flop.
If he checks turn you're potting it and he's either calling with his weak Q, checkraising you with his set or folding his bluff. Lets you define his hand alittle better.

Also leaves out the chance he'll come round and 3bet your raise all-in, which leaves you in a bad situation cause he could of set.
