Good players don't play micro stakes. There's only bad and less bad.

^True

Harrington on cash kinda fkd me. I either didn't get what it was trying to teach or harrington is plain wrong. gotta read it again to see what it was.

Harrington says we should call a 3 bet when the implied odds to get his stack are 20 to 1. and the minimum 15/1.
However at 2+2 articles says that we should call when it is 5%-10% of our stack. So i was folding to way too many 3bets.
Now i am calling more 3bets and poker is more fun.

Some of us took a long hiatus from poker (used to be a 100nl reg in 2014) and are getting back into it rebuilding from scratch.

Thank you guys so much for your advice, you definitely have all opened my mind and really made me happy by just replying and giving your opinion!

For me, atm luckily money isn't an issue so i can continue to play and not worry about the loss.

For the people who wanted to see my stats, i don't want to spend a bunch of time posting stats by position when i only have 30K hands. If you wanna see my pokertracker stuff, PM with you skype

You sir are a god or on a heater (winning at 26bb/100( while running below ev) and a positive red line)
From your experience can anyone beat microstakes for 20bb+ over a large sample.

I don't know about 20bb/100 but there are plenty of fish and bad regs out there to make money off. The reg table games imo have surprisingly barely evolved at all.

play on unibet if possible, NL4 at least is very soft at present, 95% of pots are limped. Learn to beat those guys first, the shorties, the limpers, min-bettors, psychos punting stacks for fun etc..

Not sure if you are talking about the same books. Harrington's older (2008) cash game books are really bad and pretty much worthless to learn online cash. His 2011 online 6max cash games book has problems, but it is much better and is still good enough to beat microstakes.

It's probably not going to be enough to beat SSNL these days, but it will definitely provide plenty of improvements to someone who was losing at 10NL, even more so to someone losing at 2NL. It's also fairly compact and can serve as an omnibus beginners manual - a lot of the stuff can be found in old 2+2 posts (though they're often out of date), but for $10 it's worth having it in one place.
