Information would help a lot on hand 2, but I would call. You probably have 15 outs here which would make you the favorite. You're only not getting the right odds to call if he has two pair or trips or slowplayed AA/KK preflop or flopped a flush. Plus if he's on a lower flush draw you're a huge favorite.

flatting pre is bettah

h2 dont call, you are not a fav against his range. and you def dont have the odds to call if he has a set or 2pair.

H1 I would prefer to flat pre. If we had position 3betting would have more merit, but even so, I would prob still flat.

H2 eh I find it hard to take 2NL seriously so I call. You should probably fold though, I think at worst this will be Jx, and he probably has all sets and a fair few flush combos.

I like 3betting in hand one. now just bet and shove over any raise and probably barrel any turn.
Meh fold hand 2 at 2nl a call is really not going be too bad tbh though.

Hand 1: If the guy is opening wide otb a 3bet is ok. On the flop I'd try to get it all in.
Hand 2: If you think this guy is the nitty set-mining type, you can fold. If he's not or if you have no read I'd just call it off.

Also, in hand 1 preflop if the BB is super loose and bad you can flat and bring him into the hand. But a 3bet is better if the button doesn't play well in 3bet pots.

H1: flatting pre depends, if btn steals reasonably and calls a lot of 3b re-raising is perfectly fine

H2: fold, at 2nl you want to vbet, not bluffcatch
