How can I get the money in here? I feel that when he raises, he mainly has TPGK/TPTK and FD's here. Probably sets too. VS that range I'm ofc totally fine with getting it in here, but how? I did not want to slowplay b/c of the FD out there, but couldn't think of a good amount to reraise to. I thought of shoving, but isn't that a bit too big for him to call with FD's? I raised to $1 because I thought that would maybe induce him, but apparently not.

Don't know why I shove turn. I was planning to shove any turn, but in hindsight, shoving a turn that is a club is pretty bad, right?

Villain is running 19/5 over 45 hands, so very small samplesize. No reads on him yet.

I think this type of player is not raising with pps and top pairs very often

Actually I would be inclined to fold on the flop vs raise without some information

What do you think he reps OTF? Sets, FD's and maybe an unlikely 2pair?

This hand absolutely makes no sense to me, as villain played whatever he had terribly.

Yeah, my whole reasing behind what he could have OTF is a bit result oriented because of the turn... OTT it really seems to me like he overplayed TPTK or TPGK, and thinks his hand is no good anymore because of the three clubs on the board.

But could you also comment on my play?

OTF I think if u 3b, you should shove, as 3betting pot-commits both of you and the money will get in if villain has a set or combo draw. If villain has top pair or overpair, he could see your 3b shove as a semibluff and call. You also avoid doing what you did and shoving otr with a scare card, making villain fold a pair, and calling when the draw hits.

Folding on the flop does seem nitty, but might be the right play here vs this villain. If you do want to continue, just call flop then you can bet/fold smaller on the turn. Definitely not getting it in on this turn, flushes and some straights got there.

^^ If turn isn't a club, how much do you bet (assuming we just called villains raise, the pot will be $1.03)? We have like $1.50 left.

If turn isn't a club, somewhere between 0.55 and 0.65. I'm not sure if this is optimal, can somebody help me out?
