Villain limped pre, so we can pretty much throw out AK/AQ/AJ. Bet flop bet turn bet river. Looks like V has A8/A9.

I think I would have raised PF and bet out on flop and turn. Define villain's hand and make him fold some that are better than yours (PF) or have draws (OTF). If he still raises (turn), you "know" you are beat by a flush and probably lose less money than x/c'ing all the way to river.

You can start by betting the flop yourself fairly big for value. Ask yourself what hands that you beat will call a bet and I'm sure you come up with a lot on that board.
