The only hand history i had on SB was he had raised preflop with JJ+ preflop. My preflop raise got called by 3 other players, so I tried to shut it down on the flop instead of letting anyone draw out a flush on me. When SB raised me, I put him on maybe a JT or a weaker ace, I didn't expect him to have flopped a set. Should I have been more cautious and folded?

He's not c/r AJ, so why would you think he might have a weaker Ax? FD combos are blocked quite a bit so I'm pretty happily folding here readless.

I completely overlooked the checkraise, silly mistake that i shouldn't be making. Thank you for your help, its much appreciated

Flop bet size is to big, betting smaller will still get the money in against your opponents if they c/c, but will also save money when you have to fold.

A bet of 35-40c would work quite nicely.

Yeah I'd fold to the checkraise for sure with no reads.
