Hello everyone
I've been playing 2NL Ante, 10k hands EV bb/100 of 8.14 and this includes a some tilt:/ need to fix this.. I don't want to move stakes until i'm crushing this level, would anyone have an idea for a very good bb/100 at 2NL Ante?

Thanks

8bb/100 is crushing.

However, 10k hands is a tiny sample so gotta keep playing and hope the winrate stays the same.

Nothing wrong with that winrate (small sample though). Move up and down based on your bankroll. Playing tougher games against better villains helps you develop.

Tilting at 2NL? You can't afford to lose $2 and get mad...that's not even a Happy meal or latte lol

^Tilt isn't necessarily related to money..

At 2NL I sure hope it's not about the money..

Getting two outered is gonna be tilting whether you play at nlz 500 or nlz 2.

Sorry but your sentence made very little sense.

Yours didn't either...tilt is usually related to losing money in big pots when you are supposed to win.

if you have the bankroll for 500 then losing at 2 isn't gonna make a difference at all.

I sometimes go on a little tilt when playing video games that don't even involve money and play worse because of it. I'm sure that's pretty normal. The effects of tilt don't suddenly appear when there's cash involved and that reaches a substantial % of ones bankroll. That should be pretty obvious I'd have thought, especially to anyone who plays this game.

Viewing the chips monetarily is the wrong way to go about things, unless you are playing High Stakes, which in that case it is still a bad idea, but pretty inhuman not to.

You should always metricate chips to a BB system so you do not adjust your play in a negative notion, by either going crazy because "it's not even a happy meal" or playing in nitville because it's enough to afford a car.

At 10nl the ante games seem to be quite a bit softer than the regular tables. Not sure if that's the same at 2nl. But then again I guess all games are super soft at 2nl so probably no need to play those ante games.

Tilt comes from all kinds of things. Typically it's the frustration of not winning. If you're playing 2nl because you want to learn to play and win at the game, but instead you're getting dicked over, that's going to tilt people even if they can throw hundreds of dollars or more at the game.

It's the reason there's all those angry guys swearing at you on COD or Counter Strike even though there's $0 on the line.

But if you've come here to sneer at people for playing 2nl then maybe you're a ****ing idiot for expecting a micros forum to accommodate you.

I didn't come here to sneer at anyone..people can play poker at whatever stakes they want. Just that the thread starter made a snide comment to me in another thread so I looked to see what stakes he plays. At 2nl I don't know know whether to laugh or cry. It's 1 big blind at 1/2 live...you might as well grind play $.
