He seems passive, just bet the flop yourself.

Should be betting flop to get value from all worse Kx hands and FDs. You're making it easier for his worse hands to fold and value betting his better hands for him. If you think he's bluffing on the flop but won't call a value bet then check calling is fine, but what's your thought process behind the check-raise?

Betting the flop should be absolutely standard, especially against such a passive player - any reason why you didn't?

Also, your reraise sizing, it's unnecessarily large unless you're looking for FE - look at your stack size when you reach the turn, you could've raise to 0.75 on the flop and still have been positioned perfectly to play for stacks on the turn. The $1 is unnecessarily large if you're looking for value.

In the end, you got all the money in, so, well, win ^^. But I wouldn't expect this same line to give you the most value over the long term, as it's too dependant upon villain taking a stab.

This. Going for a c/r on the flop with a TPTK type hand is just fancy play syndrome.

Agreed, not really sure why I decided to do this, I would almost ALWAYS cbet the flop in any situation, let alone this one. Thanks for the help.

i actually don't hate this line with the As, but i'd c/r the flop smaller and jam the turn

that being said, betting is likely better
