Thinking I should have just given up on the river... Is his bet just begging for a call?

    Okay I have a question why barrel turn for 3-4ths pot bet when every draw hit there? Wouldnt it save money and a bet say of .85c do the same thing as hes either check calling or check raising here and if he check raises you can easily throw it away without the A of diamonds?

    yes generally in 3bet pots you'd bet about 40-60% of pot size, but this is 2nl villain is calling down with TP no matter how big you make it

    Good point. Okay lets say none of those draws hit on the turn a blank comes off and villian check raises what do you do there? Stick it in every time?
