Villain seems bad. Loves to play hands from the blinds (not really relevant), but no reads other than that. Is this a call, assuming sets raise the flop and he might be bad enough to raise worse for value, or is it a sigh-fold?

I call he's a bad player so he poetically had top pair hit trips on the river. Board pairs and he gets a boat its just a cooler I'm calling most of the time.

Villain has normal stats to being close to a TAG, i don't see him being that bad, seems exaggerated.

However, he might be putting you on a high PP ? and could have T8 or TJ on the turn.

gross spot... I don't think I would fold this. with this price I'd look him up if he overplayed a trips or lower flush...

I should clarify, I have an auto-note which says 'call 2bet from blinds, range: J4o'.

I call, think he raises with 2p/set's before the river a lot of the time.

In hindsight, I'd fold.
In game, I'm sigh-calling because I'm awful and that's what I always do when I feel pot committed in "I don't know" situations against unknowns.

I'd expect villain to raise with 2p/sets on the flop.
I'd expect villain to raise lower flushes on the turn.

Since villain has position, I think there's more of a chance that villain could flat 2p/sets on the flop in hope of inducing a turn bet to raise if the turn was blank... compared with villain overplaying flushes/Tx on the river.
I'd expect a river call with lower flushes/Tx more often than not from a 18/10 villain.

I'd probably sigh call because of the note you have on him and because I'm a station.

It's extremely close though.

with his stats he never has a worst flush or trips..

and your note doesnt tell us anything, he could have called a minraise from SB for what we know, with J4o, which is fine..

This is a clear fold v a nit. No way is he raising trips there after you bet all 4 streets and the river bet was for a handsome size. Worse flush is possible but combinatorically there are few of them compared to the possible boat combos (relevant pocket pairs and T9s and perhaps even T7s or T7o)

Well.. he blocks a lot of boats but still. He may get you to fold Tx only (JJ+wouldnt bet river) so i guess its a bit too thin for villain

Op did write that he once called J4o from the blinds.
So I agree not likely but not close to impossible either.
