Villain is a 19/14/5 over around 50 hands. I know that I could have raised preflop, or raised the flop. Who bets the river and why (ie which hands do you think will fold)? If you bet, how much do you bet?

Check. You lost.

His WA/WB line dictates a hand that won't be folding here.

I do not bet river because
it is more likely that he will call us down with a pair because of the flushdraws that missed, and he is propably not throwing 2 bullets at this board with nothing, and if he has a draw himself or some random crap hand we have showdown equity.

I think majority of his range is Kx and Jx and he is checking river bc the only more value he might gain from his hand is snapping of a bluff

Just give up, he'll probably call with a king sometimes even a jack if he thinks u often bluff broken draws. Can't see many hands u can be representing, Q9o maybe, but that is a way to narrow range to rep. He might have a flushdraw too, but then u don't need to bluff him of the pot since u got the ace.

The case for 3betting here would be because 19/14's are generally stealing from the SB with a wide range. You may have the best hand PF and if not you'd can take the initiative away and force him to make a hand on the flop.

However, I actually will usually call medium suited aces in this situation as you did because I prefer to polarize my 3betting range as discussed in Profish's sticky thread. I consider A8s strong enough to play for value when in position facing a blind steal, so I just call.

Oh, and as far as the flop play, I always semi-bluff raise this draw in position. You will sometimes take the pot down here and force a worse hand to fold, and if not you will frequently get to see two streets for the price of one, giving you correct odds for the draw.
