Yeah we can speculate on how much of our equity we're going to realize. We're obviously not gonna be able to realize our full equity.

of course we would have to admit some simplification, would be interesting to know what pio-like software says

Not 3betting TT v CO and not wanting to use a large sizing OOP? Good luck with that.

A nash simulator> a spreadsheet imo.

lol, 13BB is not by any mean standard sizing 100bb deep

It’s relative to his open size- which is 3x. If you’re not making it at least 12bb, he can continue with most of his range here.

10-11bb would be standard, boring

And this shows your incompetency in fundamentals

If you say so, you’re entitled to your own opinion

My options here would be to either flat (yes flat) or 3B/with the intention to shove over a 4B. 3B/calling might be theoretically correct, but if you're having to post this hand on a forum, you probably are not the one that can make it profitable. imo

What a bold statement to make especially when preflop is nowhere near solved.

Care to explain?

Calling 4bets 100bb deep as a pure set mine is pretty bad i think. Id fold preflop.

That's definitely been "standard" among micro regs for a while now, but it seems to me that OOP 3bet sizings are starting to trend towards >4x against LP opens at 100bb (seems to especially be the case at high stakes)

I usually 4x oop and 3x ip. Not sure why people make oop sizing 1bb or 2bb smaller giving a better price to people ip. It has been a trend for a while though.

I mean, sometimes high stakers 5-6x OOP but I’m sure their thinking is fundamentally flawed

I’m calling TT as part of my total defence whilst facing a 4bet. I also agree that setmining here is terrible, but calling here against a polarised range is profitable in my opinion.

I have some trapped KK and AA here to protect my range and the flat isn’t too wide to cause problems- maybe like AJ-AQs, AKo, TT+ that type of thing.

You can just have a shove fold strategy here but I think having a calling range is higher EV in my opinion.

Mat Jada, Preflop. Outdated a bit but enough to understand that it would not be a call with MOST of the range against 10BB 3bet

pretty exploitable if you ask me

Janda is a genius and I think his theoretical work is unmatched.

That statement doesn’t sound logical nor does it align with what nash simulators tend to say though. He’s incredible but it doesn’t mean that he’s infallible.
