UTG is 44/22 over 12 hands
UTG+1 is 22/22 over 10 hands

Given the action so far I believe that I'm facing pocket pairs and AK, maybe AQ and AJs from UTG. UTG+1 is possibly QQ+, AK.

Given that 3 spades are on the board and the bet sizing preflop, it isn't very likely that someone flopped a flush. Draws are on the board and I believe they might call here some of the time (especially AA and KK with a spade) and the rest would fold out. Other sets might call as well. Hands that think I'm on a draw might call. A flush would call here.

UTG open and 3-bet by UTG+1, I think I might fold preflop. Flop is OK.

Top set is good. Pre can go either way. You could flat or you could just fold.

You can't put anyone on a flush with 1 bet and if you just call, you certainly run the risk of

1) getting owned by a fourth spade
2) opponent slowing down when the fourth spade hits
3) if the opponent bets out a dry card on the turn, you're going to have to call regardless, and you'll be drawing slimmer

If you get it in now, he can call with as little as As/Ks/Qs and you're only a 2:1 dog if he shows you a flush.

I wouldn't be too concerned about being too accurate with hand ranges off 10 + 12 hands respectively. Just keep it simple. PF is a bit of a risk that UTG doesn't stick it up again, but once he flats then the rest of the hand is well played IMO.

I'm folding pre, against utg open/mp 3bet OOP against two unknowns.

Postflop is good.

Fishcake, what's more important is our equity against his calling range, which is likely very good.

3betting pre is basically turning hand into bluff since we cant call a 4 bet or shove to a 4 bet and if we get a flat which will never happen against a good player unless were crushed.

call pre we keep in all the hands we dominate, j 10, qj, qk, aj, 22-1010, and are still ahead of aq, ak, qk and have position!!

because players aren't smart enough and they are only playing their hands

ie. MP is not 3betting UTG because it looks super strong, MP is most likely 3betting UTG because he has a hand.

We do not close action and am not even close to closing action. UTG can still come over the top and we just blew 12bbs.
