Your value bet sizing on the flop and turn is to small.

Think of this:
Had you bet say $2.75 on flop the pot would be $8.6 @ the turn.
Then betting say $7-8 on turn would make the pot $22-$24 @ the river; and villain woud be $33-$34 behind.

If you then still Vbet the river.. $20 into $22-$24, and villain shoves it's an easy call, your odds would be almost 6-1 to call his $13 shove.

However as played, with no reads this is a simple fold.

Ugh, I dunno... You only beat a bluff and I wonder if he would do that on a river where you already fired the third barrel.

I'm doubting if you should actually barrel river, but I guess it's ok... If he was on a flushdraw or something he's not gonna pay you off. Hands like 88,99 and JJ maight be willing to pay. Perhaps AT or something...

This spot is ugly and I think you're beat.

Fold. You pretty much only beat a bluff and you don't often see bluffs like this at NL25.

i just read the " someone learn how to post HHs" thread and feel like a noob...

umm
in general i 24tbl 25nl fast and so i had to make this decision fairly quick...
i'm a nit but fairly aggro... i know my flop bet was weak... *see top post
i guess my turn was a lil low too... just wanted him to stick around really...
i felt A10s was in his range - the flop's check/call looked suspect - flush draw - jacks...
i didn't think he was flatting with kings oop or aces... even though i do see that more than i wish i do... i figured he was TP- jacks - flush draw... the nuts lol quad fives / TT - but i didn't think he'd check the riv like that if he had one of those...

i felt he thought he could (maybe) take it away on the turn...
didn't pull the trigger and out of spite put me to the test by check shoving the riv...

i called - it seems spewy - maybe it is... idk... he had AsJs...
$90 shipped

i don't play with a HUD but i will eventually - i used to play with PT3 but it freezes - bleh
i'm going to get HEM - but i don't think it's crucial to beating 25NL - i know i'm def. missing spots here and there... but for the most part... idk

what do you guys and gals think?

Ah, the old check-raise all-in on the river with a missed draw. I hope you took a note on this villian, because I'm betting he tries this move all the time. (And it probably would've worked against me.)
