I like making it 4x pre, helps to set the stacks up nicely for a rivershove. As played I'd probably just ship it hoping he looks me up with his AJ/KJ etc

After calling on flop and turn, what will villain call $9 on the river that he won't call $17.25?

I like shoving here against a 25/8. He turns up with Jx a huge percentage of the time and if he happened to flop a set you're just extremely unlucky.

Lol wut? How do we know who will call preflop etc - you should really say bet bigger on flop + turn to set up river shove rather than raising an extra bb pre.

i raise 4x UTG also with my whole range (~15%)

oh yeah and ship river, bet slightly bigger on both streets so a shove is like 4/5th pot

Yeah just shove this river. Bet a bit more on the turn if you dislike overbetting the pot at all, like a lot of people on this forum do.

Raising 4x pre will increase the flop and turn sizing and set up for a better shove sizing. I think overbetting pot on the flop to get more money in is even more suspicious (and more likely that he will fold) than raising 4x UTG
