Seems OK to me, maybe bet a little more on the turn.

edit : and perhaps preflop is not so great, A9o will not be easy to play 3-way OOP unless you hit specifically 99x

just fold pre

raising flop is fine also but calling and leading turn is ok too

as played bet more on the turn and b/f like 6-7 on the river imo

I like the b/f on the river because i think it's hard for villain to valuebet worse and I think it's hard for him to get to the river without a made hand

Why do we c/c, donk, then donk for 1/2 pot on river?

either c/c, c/r, shove
or c/r, bet shove
or bet bet bet yourself.

I would flat pre vs a minraise & we close action

I don't like your PF call, that's a squeeze or fold situation for me. Anyway, I like your c/c on flop but I'd raise im on the turn, what makes you think that he's going to bet the river for sure?

EDIT: sorry, didn't notice that you donked the turn. I don't like it that much, I prefer c/r turn with the intention of gettin' it in. When you council to donk, you do it because you fell like you're repping a weaker hand, right?

A9o is a difficult hand to play out of position. It's a little light but not terrible by any means... might help to balance your range a little bit if you do flop a monster like 99x.

I would've gone for a checkraise on the turn to setup the river. (BUT NOT FOR THE SAKE OF SLOWPLAYING!!!!) As played, the pot size was the worst it could've been for you on the river: Not big enough to call his all-in bet, but a lot of chips stranded value left on the table. With that board on the flop/turn, I would've been 100% committed to the hand and determined not to get put into a tough spot on the river.

If he bet the turn again, I would've raised him a substantial amount (3-4x his bet) to either take the pot right there or if he called, to make a close to pot sized bet on the river to commit myself. At that point if he pushes, the pot is so big you'd have to call.

If he checks behind on the turn, the pot is so small enough that taking a bet-fold line is appropriate.

I know the instinctive thing to do on the turn is to protect your hand with so many draws possible but giving a free card would've allowed you to get out of that hand with little regrets right if he pushes on you. (And if it was terrible like a spade, you might even be able to profitably look him up by check-calling a pot-sized bet.) Of course hindsight is 20/20.

My pre-flop call is because the open is a minraise from late position and it's 0.25 to play for 1.60 pot. Maybe now I like c/r flop more than c/c.
