I call the donk instead of raising because V has already put more money in than I was going to bet. The board is dry enough, I think we can give this gentleman rope to hang himself.

Turn I didn't want to bet too big since we are probably folding to another check raise. Just over half pot seemed good, maybe should go just under half pot?

Once he just calls the turn V's range is heavily weighted towards Ax and missed draws. It's possible he backs into a flush here with Ahxh or QhXh, but there shouldn't be that many combos in his range. I think this size lets us get value from his Ax and leaves us room to fold vs a shove.

Probably less on the river we're going for hero calls and the backdoor flush makes our range stronger, but looks good. I don't think flop is a raise.

I'd considerer $2.3, maybe half pot, but your sizing is completly reasonable because the more we bet the more we look polarized and maybe he's calling range doesn't change much, but we're snap folding to a raise so there's that. We can't go small for thin value and big with the nuts but we can b/c small some 2pairs and bomb set/flush for exemple and not be too exploitable but that's probably not a real concern anyway.

The weird thing about this hand is the donkbet, his range is very mysterious. Maybe check turn and snap call river/overbet when he checks ? Or overbet turn/check river ?

I mean he is clearly a fish, so we are just betting the max we think a worse single ace calls us. I'm not really sure how much that is.

I think flop is a raise. more likely to get value from Ax and gutshots than fail to capture value from him airballing turn and river. we make more money on future streets too since we can size up

I default to bet big and fold to raises in these spots. but just try to shovel the money in on the river

ap, you said it yourself. bet as much as Ax will call

I think you need to decide if tptk is fat value vs this guy or you don't want a 3rd street. this bet 1/2p business seems like you don't know what you want to do.
