Table was really nitty and this player was starting to open wide. However villain would fold to 3bets and almost never fire 2 barrels etc. I was super card dead and didnt have much of a dynamic with villain. To make it easier, I'm getting 2.2/1 odds. Is my betsizing too small?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed)

CO ($53.35)
Button ($16.90)
Hero (SB) ($28.45)
BB ($23.50)
UTG ($30.30)
MP ($35.55)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, A
2 folds, CO raises to $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3.25, 1 fold, CO calls $2.25

Flop: ($6.75) 3, Q, 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $4, CO calls $4

Turn: ($14.75) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $8, CO raises to $46.10 (All-In), Hero pukes and ...

Against a decent reg I actually might check this tun and try for value on the rive. As Played I think you have to fold, though while puking

i'd need a pretty strong read to not be willing to get this in... the fact its CO vs blind, a 3b pot, and you have TPTK

i can see him doing this with worse Qs, FD's, ui PPs, random air etc, and obv the stuff that beats you. the pots just too big to b/f, its pretty likely that anything he wants to call with hes gonna shove with.

I'd bet $6 on the flop to leave a PSB for the turn, I'd snap this guy off with the odds you're getting, 6d7d would be a good sweat.

The pot is too large to fold in this spot. He doesn't have to have a monster here he could have AQ KQ or a smaller pair that doesn't want to believe it's beat. It's rarer that he'll have slowplayed AA,KK or a set than something else, and we're doing pretty well vs. something else. The raise is only $13 more effectively and it's unlikely we aren't good often enough to make a call profitable here

Nit Patrol!

Playing OOP in the small blind, what your all's opinion on flat calling the raise, betting $2 on the flop, betting around $4.50 and seeing if he goes bananas there in that spot? A lot less committed imo.

Ya you can't fold this here unfortunately though I think its a good % you are beat. The pot is 44 and you have to call 13 to win. Also you've put in 60% of your stack. Gotta call.

Besides I've seen people do this with like [Ad][5d] type hands.

I think it's a question of style, I 3-bet often enough that TPTK is often the nuts in this spot and could get called down by some pretty weak hands.
