I have villain as 43/9 over 60 hands. He raises 20% of the time after his opponent c-bets (sample size probably makes this stat worthless). I intended on raising the turn after just calling his flop c/r, but his turn check on the Ace made me think he was afraid of it and I'd fold him out if I bet, but he'd likely bluff the river if I checked the turn. Is this bad?

Bet more on the flop IMO. Turn check is OK i guess, but i would probably commit myself to calling on a non-scary river if he bets there

Yeah, more on the flop and like $6 on the turn. If he has a club draw or something here, you're letting him draw for free, plus you want to get value out of a bunch of PPs that he could have here. As played, I think villain might've flopped trips and his turn check is an attempt to induce a bet from you, but I could be wrong. Call on the river is fine.

I think you missed value on the flop and the turn, making the river for more profitable as well because any bet from him there now needs to be a lot bigger if he calls the turn.

i think betting and checking the turn is fine. Against a more aggressive opponent i'm betting the turn against a passive villian i'm checking
