Are you seriously thinking about folding to a 6.2 dollar all-in raise with KK?
How can you even think like that? He's a shortstack, and the only reason you are raising to 10, is to make him push all in. Remember, you want to go all-in preflop with KK most of the times.

That is exactly what I was thinking and I insta-called. I just wanted to be sure.

Assuming villain has AA (which I expected), odds wise I'm about even money to call in this one. If villain had me covered (about another 10) is calling still the right thing to do? Do people push over reraises often enough with KK or worse to make it worth it?

(I got stacked with KK 4 times in 30 hands tonight. I stopped playing after the 4th one. It just wasn't going to be my night. :-) )

4 bet in 25nl is almost always aa or kk in my experience but you ant fold to his 6$ raise obv.

With villain's stack size I am never folding KK pre. Even if we know he ONLY 5bets AA in this spot, we're getting what looks to be 26-6 on our money (better than the 4-1 we need to call here).

I think you can safely assume this is AA. Even with that assumption, you have the odds to call. (It is 4:1 you need, not 5:1, right?) If he had more money, I might fold depending on how much money it was. Pokerstove AA v. KK. I think you need 4:1. If I don't get 4:1, I fold.

Do any of you guys ever fold KK to a preflop all in? No matter how much money it is folding cannot be the best choice unless you have some sick reads on villain

Yes, sometimes I fold KK preflop. I think I've done so 3 maybe 4 times ever.

Last time was two days ago. I was 250 BB deep, villain was 250 BB deep. I raise 3bb UTG, he reraises, I reraise, he pushes. I then fold. Villain was both 10/8/2 and I'd never seen him 3 bet in 600 hands. That deep it just not worth getting it all in.

Once it was 5 bet all in before it ever got to me. I folded. Two players had AA.

Twice, against a 2/.5 nit who I know only limped QQ and never raised, much less 3 bet QQ or AK. He only raised KK or AA, and when he 3 bets it's always AA. Easy fold.

Outside of very specific reads such as the above, it's usually a mistake to fold.

Depends on the player obv but I'm willing to get it in with KK at 2NL and 5NL... 10NL most of the time... 25NL gotta think about it sometimes and 50NL just about every time.

You need 18% equity to make a call profitable.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 18.054% 17.82% 00.23% 1831062 23769.00 { KcKs }
Hand 1: 81.946% 81.71% 00.23% 8395224 23769.00 { AA }

Folding here is spew.

If you intend to fold to a shove*, why would you repop him in the first place?

* - Rarely should you ever intend to fold to a shove with KK for 100BB PF (unless you have some seeeeerious reads on villain)

same here, and excellent examples

you have to be pretty certain to fold kk preflop, which is rare
