Hey guys,

I had this hand whilst playing earlier and I'm not sure what to do in this position, I think he has the flush so I folded. But is the correct to do? I showed weakness on the river by checking and he could shove knowing he's representing it. what do you think?

As played I don't mind the fold. However I think a b/f of like $5 on the river is better. If we was calling with a Q you'll get value from that. He'll fold out other random draws he had (clubs? Straight?). And he'll raise anything that beats you. Plus you don't show weakness on the river inducing a bluff.

without reads it's tough to say, maybe he turned his Qx into bluff on this river. i would just bet $5.50 on this river and fold to raise/shove, he might be easilly calling your bets with Qx, might even turned 2 pair on river.

I think I would call the river, in my opinion, he turned his Q-x into bluff. He really didn't have the odds to call the flop+turn so I doubt he had a flush draw. Maybe I am wrong, I don't know but it is weird the way he played it. Maybe he had overset dunno.

B\F all day long, that'll make you sleep tighter.

Way more likely he is calling a FD with incorrect odds than he is turning Qx into a bluff.

I like b/f here too.

I agree that the draw is more likely, but I'd like to think that villain would try to extract value here (instead of jamming) if he makes his flush.

Looks like BS to me, but it wouldn't be the first time that I've paid off the immortal nuts with a set.

We have absolutely no reads on villain?

Those donk shoves usually means they have it.

You will catch a bluff once in awhile but IMO, it is -EV risking it.

Fold was right play. Remember saving money is just as good as making money.

Looks like a flush nice hand.

I also think b/f is the way to go just in case there is some value to be had from random 2pr/pr hands.
