Villain is 29/0/63% AFq over 29 hands

BB: $25.42
UTG: $24.95
MP: $22.50
Hero (CO): $24.90
BTN: $49.50
SB: $57.63

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is CO with K J
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 1 fold, SB calls $0.65, 1 fold

Flop: ($1.75) K 3 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.00, SB raises to $3.00

The CB is small because it's a dry board. I don't like calling here and 're-evaluating' on the turn because what will usually happen in this situation is the villain will donk into us for about $5. All I am beating is KT, K9 and some random Kxs. Anyone like a delayed CB given that the board is so dry?

I think you can fold here because you dont beat much and you already know what hes going to do on the turn. Im sure your not calling his turn bet unimproved so might as well just fold.

Bet/folding is fine with me without a read. I don't really think it matters whether you tank and bet $1 or whether you insta-bet $1, I'd prefer to call the flop and fold to any decent sized turn bet, if he checks the turn I am probably checking it back and calling the river, or betting 1/2 pot on the river if he checks the turn and river and calling a raise. I think folding or flatting and re-evaluating are both ok.

Fold the flop. I play it the same.
