I would rather lead here as checking gives him the chance to check it back and deflate your pot. Bet-folding here is great with any two cards because it puts a lot of pressure on him. As played, if you just call here and he shoves a blank river, do you fold? No. So shove now ldo

Should add: I expect to chop with Tx here which may lead to you ask "why shove if you're only getting called by better" but the point is that you aren't going to be folding this hand regardless and if he has JT it is essentially a cooler. Shoving here is good because its high pressure. And if a Jack hits... DINGDINGDING

Yeah you're right ama, that was my exact thinking, he isn't calling with worse so why shove, I wondered if calling could somehow result in him putting in money on the river with something I beat, but that seems unlikely. Also agree that leading is better.
