Villian is a 14/7/1.3 over a large sample. His 3bet is 3%. I have a note on him that says hes a competent regular who is tight player.

Was this is a good fold? When villian calls my UTG range on the BB I mainly put him on PPs, even up to QQ (because he knows my UTG range is tight). At the time I thought that his continuing range may include a made flush but I dont think theres any SCs in his BB calling range (maybe AKs I guess). Maybe Im wrong. Im not sure if he plays AA or KK like this. I dont think he does. Im quite certain he doesnt play a draw like this either.

What sort of range do people put villian on when he raises (a small raise) on the turn?

I would like to hear what people think the best line would be on this hand.

well I DEFINITELY dont fold to a raise that small on the turn...

But I know if I call there, Im going to have to call I much larger bet on the river.

Interesting spot. It's odd to see a regular min raise another decent player. I would put him on TP with draw. KQ or AQ. I'd call and hope for a check/small bet on river. On a side note, I fold any PP 88 or lower in early position. If its a tight table I recomend raising 4 or 5x, make it look like you got a BIG pair so people aren't second guessing a fold.

Thanks for all the responses. I probably should have shipped it in on the turn. I probably shouldnt be worried about being set over set at 25NL where the players overvalue their hands.

I'll also x4 raise this hand in EP next time.
