Villain is 50/0 over a small sample of approx ~hands. I actually think I like checking back the river here but villain insta checked the river when the second jack fell so I felt I could get further value out of worse Kx hands as I felt if he had a jack he'd probably lead the river.

Thoughts? Is this a spot for some thin value?

Why didn't you raise his blocking bet OTT? I think ur river decision would be more clear.

I'd be raising the turn too, probably shoving. Our villain is a fish, we have TPTK, now's your chance to win his stack. Don't pass it up.

As played, on the river I'd probably shove. Any decent-sized bet will leave us pot-committed if our villain should raise, so shove now, let's hope he's got a king.

Because I'd only ever seen him check call with marginal hands and never lead at pots...I felt like if I raised I may just fold out all the hands that I beat but get called by KJ

If he really is a fish, he's not folding any K. So you don't need to worry about that. Just value bet all day and you'll be surprised with the hands they stack off with.

His most likely hands is a K/J/QQ and sets of course.

This could actually mean he's donk betting a K. That's if what you meant by ch/c marginal hands is Mpairs or worse and not TP ****ty kicker.

I'd say the river is a spot for some fat value not thin value. Half pot should do it.

This was actually my thinking - I guess I subconsciously used the word 'thin' due to the outcome....damn my results orientated sub-conscious.
