villain is 9/3 on 1.7k hands, we have little real history and he's barely a breakeven player. how often does he hold AK and we chop, and how often is there an AQ in his range? does a mega-nit push a non-nut FD? i tanked down considering the ranges and possiblities of how'd he play certain hands OOP, but didn't feel like committing with the AK, even with the K of suit, when he bet $9.25... i began to consider a flopped set of Q's? against most of his range i'm either way behind or just chopping here, correct?

When a 9/3 from a big sample cold calls pre and donks into 3 players on the flop, you can fist-pump fold TPTK/overpairs.

how about call on the flop? you pretty much need to flat the 1/2 pot donk here to see if he slows down on the turn, right?

Yeah...I mean I pay him one bet just cuz he might put us on a big hand also and go into check mode once he gets called. I think if we have the best hand or a split then he's likely to check the turn, but that turn bet looks like pure value.

Seriously, just fold on the flop. This guy always has it.

Steal his blinds, c-bet his fit-or-fold set-mines with air, but never ever play a big pot with him without middle set or better. He is never exploiting you; we exploit him by folding the flop.

I think flop call is ok considering we back into a NFD 20% + turn a K 6% which might be good. Fold is ok too though since his range is ahead of his for sure, but we are getting decent odds to try to improve with position.

Would like a flop call much more if it was anything but the Q out there.

Flop is probably a fold. It's rarely a split, and usually AQ/22/QQ. Given that he bet 1/2 pot, I probably call though, and then fold turn.

wp. In a super good day you can almost fold flop. But nh.
