This is a spot vs better regs that I am having trouble with.

Villain is your standard 16/12 aggro reg.

Pre flop is fine no? UTG+1 is pretty new to the table but running 33/0 over 15 hands so I am putting him towards the fishy side. Aggro reg is iso'ing and I call to set mine.

OTF I expect villain to be firing very often. If I raise I blow the fish out of the pot and porbably fold out hands that I beat in the regs range. I maaaybe can get him to lay down some overs like 1010 or JJ if he thinks I do this with a set but I would think he would just flat my raise with those hands also. If he ships over my raise I am screwed basically and best case scenario I would be up against a flush draw.

OTT the K is a pretty bad card for us but a great card for the reg to represent and double barrel. What should I do?

This actually can work against this player type.

If you aren't comfortable making moves like this, just fold the turn.

yeah because, you know, you rep the nuts so well with this line.

Spoiler:
imo raising only gets him to fold hands we already beat....most TAGs are not barreling TT-QQ here

What's his cbet%? Against a competent TAG I fold flop. He's firing into two (one of the a fish) on a bad board to cbet on, I give him credit for an overpair to the board, a set, or at least a FD. If I were to call the flop, it is with the intention of bluffraising the turn if the fish doesn't come along.

Call turn. If hes competent then he knows its a great card to barrell. Shove any club river. I can see why raising the turn is pretty bad here but if we have a set then we would raise hoping the villain has a King. If we only raise when we have a set then thats pretty bad too but probably wont matter at this level.

depends who he is tbh... a lot of regs are like "zomg a King let's barrel" and yet they pot control with hands as strong as KJ, thus becoming really unbalanced and you can call down

a good reg is gonna be barreling a wide value range like TT+ as well as all their draws and most of their air, which makes it a lot tougher for you to continue profitably

The 2nd brl by this villain is going to be dependent on hero here. How does he view you? Do you fold to turn cbets a lot? what kind of range do you think he puts you on after your flop call?
