Villain has laggy stats over 40 hands, 35/33 43ag%. He's been 3bet three times so far, folding once.

I've been playing 17/14 and behaving myself.

Full Tilt Poker $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

UTG: $59.28
MP: $32.77
CO: $25.00
BTN: $47.81
Hero (SB): $25.85
BB: $8.06

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with A K
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2.25, 1 fold, BTN calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.75) 6 8 J (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50

Turn: ($9.75) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $21.10 all in

Good? Bad? Better lines? Check-raise flop?

Missed AK in 3bet pots comes up a lot and OOP, I'm often check-folding the flop and wondering if there's a better play.

3bet bigger oop ($3?)

c/f that flop? pretty bad one to cbet. i think c/c is the worst option. c/f > bet > c/r > c/c

Bigger preflop, as played just c/f flop.

On the turn I don't get what you're trying to get him to fold, since you never ever play a flush like that.

Bad. Cbet flop ~1/2. Turn shove does not seem to be very smart.

c/c is like your worst option on this flop

If you miss with AK OOP in a 3bet pot usually you should just c/f the flop. The wetter the flop, the more inclined you should be to c/f.
The dry-er the flop, the more inclined you should try to cbet imo

As played:
c/c is pretty bad. You're OOP with ace high(which could be best if he's bluffing, but you just dunno) with two more streets to go.
As played i'm not sure i like the turn shove. If villian would think a bit he's never folding a jack and maybe even a PP. So we have not so much FE. So again c/f turn

As played, I'd say you just turned your cards face up, villain should see that only card you can represent is just the one you have - badly played AK with one of them beeing hearts.

Dumuzi said everything very precise about the flop decision: c/f > bet > c/r > c/c

I like what dumzi said but I think crai is better than betting simply because it has more fold equity. I guess if opponent can at all hand read then he might see a crai as unbalanced bluff here but against average player that simply bets cause u 3 bet then checked and sensed weakness what do ppls think. fwiw I would usually c/f or bet as well but am just wondering.

c/r doesn't have a ton of FE vs a guy with a brain and a pair

But he doesn't always have a pair or a brain, so if you think he floats air often the c/r is good. If he doesn't float air, c/r is just giving him money.

c/f flop is fine. If we do decide to cbet, it should be bc we intend on barreling many turns (this being one of them). Make your flop cbet bigger so your turn jam isnt 2x pot. You should make this larger sizing with value hands as well.
