I viewed this as a straight steal from a somewhat aggressive villain. He has typical TAGGISH stats

Hero has A

OTB

folds to CO who 3x opens, hero flats

flop 9

CO bets 1.60, hero raises to 4.50, CO calls

turn Q

CO checks, hero bets 7.20, CO calls

You need to post more reads imo.

The play can hardly ever be terrible.... overs+BDFD has good equity for a bluff raise.

I dont like the flop raise.
Thats an awful board to cbet and you say CO is a standard TAG.
as played..
I think you need to barrel that turn.
Most ppl Freeze when they get Raise.
I dont think villain is too strong here.(if the river brings a brick, you can triple barrel).
