Just preface this hand the answer to my question in the thread title is almost certainly "yes, what's the problem?". However, i've been running super bad and have started getting gun shy and second guessing myself a lot.

The reason i'm posting this hand particularly isn't that i couldn't confidently but the villain on a range. I'm never 100% as to what regs call 3bets OOP with after check calling two streets im starting to think "set", then i think "nah, he must raise a set on flop or turn". As you can see, my mind is working all that well.

Anyhoo, on with the hand.

Villain is a 17/14 reg with a 74% fold to 3bet over a good sample. I've never really tangled with him much so have no specific reads.









Really my question is more about his range than whether or not to bet.

His range is most likely AQ and sets. Doubtful he has two pair or any draws. I would probably bet 1/2 - 2/3 on the river. But seriously, you should be folding when the BB shows that kind of strength on the flop.
