I probably raise the flop for value, unless he is donk/folding alot and he likes to barrel.
As played I think its fine. The river bet is an overshove but you will get called by any K sometimes even a J.

villan is not great from stats, i think they bet "to see they are", i didn't think they would stack off on the flop with just one pair. when they check turn im pretty sure i have the best hand, river i know i have.

Just dont know if I should overshove or bet 70%~

I raise flop, he's probably not letting go of top pair, with those stats he might not even fold a jack. I think we are losing value overbetting the river.

I like mixing it up with an over-shove/value bet. Over-shove like 30% and value town the rest.

i think raising flop is a ton better than flatting. River play is good I think as if hes calling $8.20 or something with a K hes probably going to call a shove as he only has ~$14 behind so we are maximising value from Kx hands.

I raise flop, simply because a flop raise looks bluffy.. That sets us up for the turn bet and river shove. Easy if you like money.

As played though I like shoved river because no straights or flushes completed so he thinks Kx is good, especially if he sees you as an idiot/lag.

PS i may be a little drunk but I thought u were at 50nl GB1?

I'd raise flop for two reasons:

1. There are a lot of gutshots, OESD, or one-pair type hands that continue here to a small raise. If he c/c'ed the turn on a brick, then I don't see why he wouldn't call a small raise.

2. He bet only 1/2 pot. By donk-betting here, he has taken control of manipulating the pot to his liking, somewhat like a blocker bet. Because he only bet 1/2 on flop, the river will be no where near a comfortable shove and as played, you had to overbet the river to get it in. If you had raised 2.5x, you probably could have shoved the river in less than a PSB.

And I'd bet closer to pot on turn. On a brick, I don't see what folds to a PSB but calls to a 2/3 PSB.

Raise flop.
If he isn't going to call your flopraise he isn't going to call more bets on turn AND River.
Don't try to win a little bit against 8x,Jx, PP's , But make sure to win alot against his Kx. If you make your raise on the flop on the small side it's to tempting for him to ever fold a K, he could call with a Jx or QQ too.(He could have some draws too)

If we raise to like 3,15 on flop and bet 5,50(like 60%) on turn we can shove river for $10 in a $20 pot.
