iPoker - $2 NL - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (BB): $200.00
SB: $249.00

I have checkraised him on a lot of wet flops. He cbets boards with high cards most of the time and has cought me CR air/gutter before. Anyway wanna see what people think about the turn. Ship? Or call and what then on the river?

SB posts SB $1.00, Hero posts BB $2.00

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero has K T

SB raises to $4.00, Hero calls $2.00

Flop: ($8.00, 2 players) 8 T K
Hero checks, SB bets $6.00, Hero raises to $18.00, SB calls $12.00

Turn: ($44.00, 2 players) 9
Hero bets $30.00, SB raises to $84.00 - what now? :P

I just stick it in with such a short stack to pot ratio.

If he has a set or has turned a straight (with which I expect him to flat turn normally) so be it, we're getting stacked.

He might put me on a FD or smth since I CR flop thus raise turn with QJ but prolly still good to ship turn. Want to see other thoughts too please.

ship it in, he can still have worse 2p and you even see ppl play AA/AK this way, so fistpump snapshove =)

i'd fold, he v rarely has worse 2pair, not many semi-bluffs and almost no bluffs in his range. u'd rly need some heavy c/r dynamic and turn history to assume that his range is super wide here.

I truthfully feel like your dead here way more often than most will allow you to believe

+1

I would definitely put the money in HU, I mean HU is all about plays, ofcourse you gonna run against a straight sometimes but because you've been caught CR him before you probably have him exactly where you want him to be with your top 2 pair.

villain certainly took a line that is incredibly difficult to use as a bluff, hence we can assume he isn't bluffing nearly often enough, and this hand might very well be fold

Really weird sizing by villain here, I probably just ship against most people but I don't feel too great about it.

Villain could be raising turn with lots of hands besides JQ. For example, AA, AK, AJ, J9, J10, KJ, K9, any Jx of spades. Some of these hands a call makes more sense but as OP said he reps a flush draw raising the flop and and has raised plenty of wet flops before this hand (sometimes with air), and Villain knows/should know this. Can't see a fold here.

I'm shoving. He could easily have worse 2 pair which he is checking back on bad rivers, maybe sometimes even AK/KQ/KJ if he should raise these for some reason. If he has flush draw or OESD + pair type of hand like J8, calling or folding will be kind of breakeven for him, so it won't be important for you what he is going to do but if you call turn he can play river in position much better than you can.

@all saying he can easily have worse 2pair, what 2pair do u expect him to show up here with? is's safe to assume that he 3bets K8 a decent % of the time OTF. is he really playing K9, T9, T8 etc this way sufficiently often enough to make this a a big part of his range and an easier call for hero? i dont think so..

I wouldn't assume he 3bets K8. Some people do, most people don't. Why wouldn't he play K9, T9, T8 this way? Why are these hands different to K8?
