CO is 28/24/11 in 900 hands. In theory this is a very common flop to donk. In practice, are you doing it much, if at all? Thanks-

CO: 129.57 BB
BTN: 108.67 BB
SB: 97.5 BB
Hero (BB): 102.49 BB
UTG: 155.06 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 7 T

fold, CO raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 1.5 BB

Flop: (5.5 BB, 2 players) 5 6 7
Hero?

I think donk ranges are supposed to be more polarized. I'd be surprised if the solvers choose to incorporate this into our donking range. In practice I rarely donk even with the GTO recommended ranges (but do it more in MW spots where the PFR is more likely to check it through), but even if I was to work on it I'd probably be donking more top2+ for value and some 8x/9x/BDFD type hands. as bluffs.

Thanks for the feedback. GTO Wiz donks this board in general and this actual hand as well over 70% of the time. To me the real reason to start developing a range here would just to be to start denying equity to over cards. It’s a bummer when it goes check/ check and over cards get there on the turn when you could’ve won with a small flop bet.

I do donk in practice here often for the equity denial reasons you mentioned. Really it depends on villain's c-bet tendencies. If he's a guy who likes to c-bet often on a lot of boards, you don't need to worry about donking, just range check and let him exploit himself by over c-betting into your strong range and x/r him a lot. But many good players will figure that population isn't donking and thus check back a lot (if you look at the Simple solve in GTOwiz where it doesn't allow donks, solver range checks back a lot of these boards as IP because BB's range is too strong) to realize more equity
