PokerStars - $2 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 141.99 BB
UTG: 70.64 BB
MP: 236.85 BB
CO: 144.78 BB
BTN: 100 BB
SB: 203.58 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8 J

fold, MP raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 1.5 BB

Flop: (5.5 BB, 2 players) 4 7 T
Hero checks, MP bets 3.9 BB, Hero raises to 10 BB, MP calls 6.1 BB

Turn: (25.5 BB, 2 players) K
Hero bets 18.17 BB, MP calls 18.17 BB

River: (61.84 BB, 2 players) 6
Hero bets 111.32 BB and is all-in,

Is this a good combo to take with this line or are there better bluffs? I feel like the 6 is a good card for me because it completes a lot of straight draws. 53s, 85s, and 98s all get there, but I also want to be careful about over bluffing a competent reg.

Also, what do you think about my raise sizing on each street?

Turn doesn't complete any draws so I'd go 2e or check, can't just XR a ton of gutters and blast off.

River J seems really bad blocking a lot of snap folds.

it's wp but as has been said, it's more accurate to bet bigger on turn like a small overbet or something like that
This combo seems pretty good for bluffing river, plus we have to bluff a lot in the first place and the only thing better than this is i guess 4x

EDIT: To respond to the above comment, I think in general terms giving up river would be a way bigger mistake than wahtever the turn inaccuracy is

Vs a MP opening range we can probably fold this otf. Vs CO definitely BTN we can x/r otf.

Turn K is a great card for villain and terrible for us, so we use a check or overbet strategy. This hand doesn't make it into our OB range.

River seems like a good card for us to bluff since our bluffs are centered around straightdraws and we block 9s8s.

I would just call this otf. You don't need to raise as much vs polar sizing and you should prioritize hands with BDFD.

Ott you should bet mostly one draws and 4x and 7x as a bluff. In gtow this is around 2bb mistake. Ofc that can be fine as an exploit.

Otr your main bluffs should be 4x 7x hands because they don't block folds and block sets. Solver doesn't like to bluff with BW because it blocks hands that are folds.

River probably fin in practice. I think pool will fold too much bluff catchers

River is the best played street imo.

flop i would prefere x/r with bdfd also you block his continue range better like KJ AJ bdfd etc. and in generall i would be carefull vs mp + big bet on that flop he will naturally overdefend by having a to strong cbetting range + us blocking his snapfolds like QJ KJ no backdoors.
So we will end up super often on the turn with a gutshot still relativly high spr vs strong range oop. When we hit our hand we have not much implyed odds because natural bluffs clearly get there so he will often be able to get away from overpairs etc. So we just put ourself in a bad spot by checkraising to aggro with bad combo choice this snowballs easy into big punts. ( this runout was one of the easyest to play)
As played i think turn we need to bet more polar with a overbet repping 2p+.
River very easy bluff one of the best bluffing cards in the deck.
