nah wasnt me. i think my bodog account name is WTBS and i only use it for sportsbetting. actually i rarely use it at all as i have been cutoff props and ingame and only bet quarters now sparingly to keep it open.

Maybe I'm naive, but I have a lot of friends who play a lot of different levels of online games and none of them besides the Dang bros share a bankroll and none of them have any kind of prop agreements to play games for hours until a fish sits. Or maybe they're all lying, I don't know. Option A seems more likely though.
pretty funny right now considering. thou doth protest too much...

why dont you actually come out and say what you think rather than attack peoples character in a passive aggressive manner like a 4th grade girl?

One player has already been suspended from FTP. This is beyond what I "think".

for downloading hands from a website. that is not even close to what youre implying.
12-21-2009 , 10:13 PM
but youre too much of a bitch to actually just come out and say it.

Haha.

It's pretty funny how online MSNLers and HSNLers don't care or don't think too much of the database situation yet everyone else keep attacking the Brians / Cole's characters.

If their peers/opponents acknowledge what happened is "standard" and is nowhere near to being unethical, everyone should find something else to hate on.

Really? There's a site called 2+2 where u can get a lot more info. Read there about backing deals and discussions during the Hand then get back to me.

It's pretty funny how some people can decide which cheating is "standard". Does every player at FTP consider these violations standard? Please let us all know what other viations are standard so we can all be on a level playingfield

Link? I honestly don't know what you're implying. Do you think selling pieces of your action in one session or on a session-by-session basis is the same thing as "sharing a bankroll?" I don't. My personal perspective (not that anyone asked) is that while I don't like the fact that db's of everyone's play are available to everyone, it's become 100% standard to use them (in some manner--usually just to determine if they're a drooler and puss out of playing them if not).
\
Someone having a problem w/ a strategy session w/ friends is absolutely laughable to me--it seems like some people have a problem with it because they had a highly effective strategy session with lots of hard work that made it that way.

You need to get your facts straight. Firstly, noone involved in this incident was suspended from FTP. So that actually was what you "thought" (wrongly). Secondly, there is zero proof about discussions during the hand, and in fact the general consensus now, even from the 'anti' crowd is that *no* in hand discussion took place (taking into account, among other things, how difficult and counter-productive such discussions would prove while 6 tabling). Thirdly, are you implying that selling a piece = 'backing deal' = unethical and/or immoral?

The reporting is correct, your reading comprehension is not.

It would be way more shocking if high stakes regs didn't share hand histories, strategies, and bankrolls.

of course and everyone knows this. the funny part is when they try to act clean. errr ya dudez who play against the same opponents in the same room never look around or speak....errrr

they should just open team play tables at FTP and get it over with...

heres the problem. its that morons like stinger88 have no idea how to preserve a poker game. only in this instance it brings down a whole poker room(s). Most online "pros" are myopic. they arent really professional at all. once you realize your not playing WoW on your wii or whatever, your playing w/ men and their money, youd behave in a much different manner. these are children. I just see this crap, the hubris of bragging about stuff on ESPN that will turn off 1000 newbies. it pisses me off. no one who was brought up gambling correctly would ever do this shyt.

This is what i try to post about. poker is way more than what % a cr river bluff will be profitable.

i see these guys in my games during the LAPC. they act like morons, kill the games, who needs it?

Mediocre Poker Radio interview with Hastings

For those interested, this was done about 10 days ago (Isildur talk starts after the 2 minute mark, discussing talks of collusion, etc). Further discussion about studying hands starts at 27:40.

At 11:40ish in the interview he states quite clearly that Taylor "is horrible at reading PLO boards" and quite often said that Taylor asks him "what do you think I should do here should I call?" and Hastings says "what are you doing? Get it in!"
