not many reads, typical loose passive i guess

Board:
HERO (BB): $1,510
DONKRIGHTHUR (Button): $1,490

Dealt to HERO A K

Pre-flop:
DONKRIGHTHUR raises to $30, HERO raises to $100, DONKRIGHTHUR calls $70

Flop: ($200) 9 K J (2 Players)
HERO bets $100, DONKRIGHTHUR calls $100

Turn: ($400) 8 (2 Players)
HERO bets $269, DONKRIGHTHUR calls $269

River: ($938) 6 (2 Players)
HERO all-in $1,041, DONKRIGHTHUR all-in $1,021, HERO returns $20

other than bet bigger on flop and turn, is my line good? I'm thinking if a check on the river to induce the miss draws is better or not

What are the blinds? 5/10?

If I checked river I'd check fold. On this board we're almost never ahead when villian bets. Too few missed draws and lots of draws that hit.

Unless we have reads that villian is a station I Wouldn't bet either the turn or river. I'd probably call most bets on the turn, then check fold river. Everything got there and the only hands I can see calling down that are worse is maybe KQ and KT. By checking the turn we're allowing villian to rep the flush if he floated with air. By betting we're allowing him to play nearly perfectly by folding out almost all worse hands.

yes 5/10 blinds

and yeah I'm pretty sure the turn/river bets like these are a pretty big leak for me and that's why I posted this hand.

Instead of thinking that there's a lot of hands to get value from on the turn what should I be thinking?

the thing with this turn is that like half the deck makes you c/f river and it also hits his range pretty hard
i like c/c turn and c/f river
