river completes many draws. Is it c/c, b/f or b/c?

      H1: b/f river is probably the best line to take, although it's hard to see with what value hands he is raising river. On the other hand it is also hard to see with what hands he could be bluffing, so he probably has it often enough that you can't call profitably here.

      H2: probably just call flop and see a turn. I suck in spots as these, as they could also have something like 88 here and treat it like the nuts (I has an overpair!), or they could have a monster, or they might decide to bluff with something like A3s.

      my thinking process went pretty much exactly as you described. I folded H1 but it felt pretty strange

      In my head H2 went exactly as you described. Or he has a monster or he is bluffing.

      In that case you should def flat flop: keep his bluffs in and minimize damage against monsters.

      You don't really want to 3bet the flop with anything in H2

      H1 is an easy b/f, you can get value from 2pair still but it is hard for villain to be able to bluffshove the river in this spot as pretty much all the hands that get there have some SDV and you would have to fold a strong hand.
