Villain has been ****ing with me a bit on this table, check/jamming a river (I folded), 3betting, etc. He is 26/21, calls out of SB 14%. I'm running identical on this table and messing around just as much. I've shown down big hands, stacking another reg PF KK over JJ.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $4(BB) On Game
SB ($394)
BB ($620)
UTG ($1,622)
Hero ($1,117)
BTN ($402)

Dealt to Hero A K

UTG calls $4, Hero raises to $20, fold, fold, BB calls $16, fold

FLOP ($46) A 8 7

BB checks, Hero bets $33, BB raises to $124, Hero calls $91

TURN ($294) A 8 7 7

BB bets $177 Hero

I like a jam here with the dynamics going on. The 7 is one of the best cards for us, and after calling the flop I'd be hard pressed to fold with that turn card.

ya seems like a standard jam once you get that turn, since his value range is 88 or 77, most people dont flat a x suited out of position to an isolation (in position maybe) but im guessing you ran into pocket eights since you made a thread about this hand. its kinda hard to see what stacks are like after he bets i might flat but the point is just dont fold

Anybody muck this, 150bb's deep? Or just flat and dump river if he shoves? What is his range here?

i think jamming the turn is just not good... i hope i didnt misscalc anything here but villain gets 1,58 to our shove and that means he needs ~38,75% to make his call +ev. against a half-way realistic range he has 20-30% equity against us with a big draw

if villain is not a ****** he will fold evrything we beat on the turn and just will call fkn awesome hands (esp that deep). in my opinion the most +ev play here is to call and call most non spaded rivers (or call whatever rivers... depends on villain, but with that dynamics i think call any non spaded rivers).

further i think that the shove on the turn just polarizes ur range pretty hard to top pair or at best A8. u wont ever shove the turn here with a boat.

People have a tendency to put everyone on flush draws when it is possible... lol.. for the record I think most good players will stop semi bluffing when board pairs like that on turn... cuz everyone just sees it as a good brick card, removing some set/2pairs combination and they're just gonna shove turn with like AK/AQ/AJ
