Villain was 757= over 40hands, he didnt mind to call preflopx 5x raises with random 4gappers and he calls down light-so my 1st question is, if its ok to raise hands that crush his limp/calling range oop.

And the 2nd question is how to play this hand-should i overbet? On the turn the flush hits but i still beat his whole calling range-
he will happily call the flop with overcards, backdoor draws, a 3, a 4, a J and he would still call the turn with oesd with one diamond and other hands.

Is this a spot for potcontrol even hes a loose-passive? I could bet and fold, as hes loose-passive and incapable of doing complex bluffs like representing the flush with air.

How much should the tourney format influence my decision? Its a 128player hu sng, this game is the 3rd tier.
Winner takes all-i always hear yadayada cEV = $EV, but what about my tourney life and theory of gamblers ruin. (I could lose this pot but if i keep myself some chips i could rebuild, even though from a point of his calling range it would be +ev to stackoff anytime the flush hits)

i dont think playing a tourney should influence your play, especially if its a WTA. Just bet smth huge on turn, and get it in.

I would bet as much as you think the villain would call. Assuming you play all your HU matches to win, the fact that this is a MTT shouldn't affect your play.

As stated, the fact it's an MTT should be irrelevant, you should play every hand optimally and let the results take care of themselves.

bet fairly big if he is calling anything, 320 minimum (would prefer slightly higher), then you've set yourself up for a river shove provided it's no diamond (except the J ldo)
