Ok, I'm utg, and I open 3x with AJ.

The co, who is 21/17/7 over 21 hands calls. The BB who is 22/4/1 over 500 hands calls.

I flop TPTK, so I bet a little more than half pot for value I'm thinking.

CO calls, BB folds. So what's CO have? If he's thinking I opene any pp from utg maybe he called w a KJ, QJ, maybe suited. I'm used to people with sets at this level just raising me on the flop.

Turn is a Q, completes a flush, if he's suited, but if he had KJ or QJ he can't have hit a flush. I bet a little more than half pot again, I think for value, QJ is beating me, but I'm still ahead of KJ, A6, A2, and I'm thinking with the flushy board he'll let me know if he has QJ. But he just calls again.

The river is sort of a blank. But I don't like that he called pf, flop, turn, and I really don't know what I'd do if he raises me, and I kind of want to get to showdown, so I just check. He bets half pot, which looking back kind of says VALUE VALUE, but again maybe he thinks he's value betting with KJ. Now that I think back though, it seems like I might be beat.

How should I have played this?

it's not like any draws missed and I highly doubt he's betting KJ here so c/f river i think

edit: not even sure i like betting the turn tbh.

Yeah it seemed bad during review, wish I could think these things through better in game.

Looks like you're beat here. It just looks so much like a value bet on the river I probably would not call unless I knew my opponent was a bluffer. Personally, if I can read someone as a bluffer, then they are bluffing more often than one time out of 3 there anyway. (I don't go for many thin calls right now.) Vs unknown c/f river might be the best. I would probably call a small bet on the turn, say up to .14 or so, but that's just me.
